• Diagnosis input: vehicle details (year, make, model, mileage, engine, ZIP/city), symptom description, and any photo or video you upload.
• Payment information: if you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number — Stripe handles and stores that securely.
• Usage data: basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, used for security and to keep the Service running.
• Local browser storage: your form inputs and your most recent diagnosis are saved in your browser's local storage so you don't lose your work if you navigate away. This data stays on your device and is not visible to other users.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate your AI diagnosis by sending relevant details to third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google).
• To process subscription payments via Stripe.
• To monitor, secure, and improve the Service.
• To track free-diagnosis usage limits.

3. Third-Party Processors

We share the minimum necessary data with the following third parties solely to operate the Service:

• Anthropic (Claude) — processes your description to generate the main text diagnosis.
• OpenAI (GPT-4o) — analyzes uploaded photos and may be used as a diagnosis fallback.
• Google (Gemini) — processes uploaded video.
• Stripe — processes subscription and one-time payments.

Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing data they process on our behalf.

4. Data Retention

Uploaded photos and videos are used to generate your diagnosis and are not intentionally retained by us beyond what's needed to produce your result. Diagnosis history saved via local browser storage stays on your device until you clear it.

5. Your Choices

• You can clear your saved diagnosis and form data anytime by clearing your browser's site data/local storage for this site.
• You can cancel your subscription anytime, which stops future billing.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
